The ability to be able to Mass Update Asset Type for multiple assets. Currently the Asset Type field is not a Mass Update Field option when choosing multiple assets and selecting the Mass Update action.

This seems like a pretty basic feature that should be a part of the "manage asset types" page. It would allow the user to create an asset type, and then modify that asset type as they would pre-existing ones - pretty self-explanatory.
