It would be extremely efficient to have any search or filtering give you the option to take those results and export to excel. In some cases you can, but there are a lot of opportunities to use the data in that way. Could we have every screen give the ability to export the information?
Hi again. Yes I've been in reports for information but when you are in the other areas, like work orders themselves, it would be nice to not have to take extra steps to export the info.
I realize it is the OTHER program but it is similar in ML Schedules, Right now, I'm trying to get information that yielded over 60K results, and I really wish I could export to excel and sort how I want to. Right now I'm in the "view all (schedules) requests".
Hi @Guest thank you for the detail. This helps alot. So what you are looking for is:
Being able to export to excel from the work order pages
Being able to export to excel from the transactions grid on a given work order
Having a better print layout for work orders
If I dont have that correct, let me know. For #1 above, have you tried using the work order report? (Menu path: Reports > Work Order Report), that report allows for exporting work orders to excel
There are times when the information you need either cannot be exported to excel or even printed because the formatting isn't laid out well.
Example 1: This result when choosing "print" from the list of work orders

That same information just doesn't have an excel option as shown on this screen grab:

Example 2:
I have one generic work order to track purchases that I can't attribute to a certain work order, at least at the time. As I have time, I'll go back to it and see if I can move any. It would be helpful to have the ability to export this to excel (for any work order, not just this one)

I hope that is helpful.
