You need to be able to "retire" or "deactivate" inventory items that are no longer used

When we stop using a product, we should be able to "retire" or "deactivate" the no longer used item and have it disappear from the actively used inventory list.

Similarly, we should be able to do the same thing for buildings/spaces. If we no longer use a space or building, we should be able to "retire" or "deactivate" it and have it drop off the lists into an "inactive" folder.

Hi @Guest thank you for the idea submission. Being able to inactive and in some cases delete inventory items maks a lot of sense!

For the building/space part of your description @Guest what lists are your referring to? Just want to make sure I understand the area properly.

When a building or space is inactive they do not show up in the work order form as available options. The manage buildings page has a true/false inactive filter, the page defaults to show active. so inactive buildings are hidden. For the Manage Spaces page, we do show inactive spaces there by default, so is that the page you are referencing? Thank you!
