The option to add a completely custom calendar and be able to repeat for however long needed. ie. weekly, monthly, yearly.
Example: We have a moisture check that needs done weekly in the winter months to prevent frozen pipes, however only needs done monthly Spring -Fall
Right now with the current set up we have 2 PMs for the same thing we have to remember to turn on and off at the start and end dates.
I think this may align with our need of triggering winterization and spring prep. Currently we have to have 2 PMs to trigger it on then off, because the specific months that we want it to be triggered are not customizable. We also have a PMs that we want to be triggered at the beginning and end of our school year. So at August and June. It would be great if it could be part of the same PM and not needed to be different ones.
Yes. That could potentially work for my particular issue. If you added a custom calendar for the year in exclusions it would solve all future issues.
Right, so allowing the exclusions function to be more flexible would help out a ton
It would not solve our issue of having more than one PM. It helps so we do not have to turn the PM on and off depending on the season, but since you can only edit by month and not by week this would not solve the whole issue.
Hi @Guest , thank you for the idea submission.
Have you tried using the "Exclusion" button when editing a PM? You can exclude multiple months so that the PM only triggers automated work orders during the spring/fall months. I posted a screenshot below for visual reference.
