Retired Date on Asset auto populate when switched to retired status

I noticed that when I switch an asset to the retired status the retired date does not populate. Logically it would make sense for that value to automatically populate when the status on an asset is changed.

Having to go back and put the date in on when it was changed to retired seems counter productive with the workflow in asset management.
