Inventory request detail report is the only report that has the budget codes on it, so we use that monthly to give to our accounting department to move funds around appropriately. This has worked wonderfully until I recently noticed one of our managers who does repairs adding inventory to the work orders, but upon cross referencing, these items aren't showing up on the inventory request detail report because they do not technically have a request. Which, fair.
However, I can't even get the inventory consumption report to pull up (I keep getting an error screen) to even see if it will do what I need it to do. Which is honestly the only inventory report that seems like maybe it might do what I need it to.
In a nutshell, I love the inventory request detail report. It gives me all information my accounting department needs. I just really need these work order deductions on that report as well. Like could the work order itself count as the inventory request? We are missing a ton of money being spent each month. And I won't lie, I honestly don't know how I can easily gather this information since the asset report doesn't give us a breakdown of what exactly each category of "costs" is spent on. Which is another request I have asked for (MLW-I-464).
