Loading Time Performance

I understand that narrowing a search should decrease loading times, however, that should not be a requirement. Lazy loading should be enabled to delay the loading of non-critical resources such as pages not currently on the screen. Our staff does not want to create filters just to make loading times faster. There should be something within the code to only trigger loading of content that is within the user's viewpoint.
