Ability to add inventory to an assets as you can a building

We would like the ability to add inventory to assets. For instance, we have our main warehouse for all inventory stock. Each building has their own stock. But our mechanics keep a stock of parts etc. in their trucks (assets). We If they take from the main warehouse for certain work orders, they can add inventory items to each work order. But if they take from the main stock to stock up their truck, there is no way to account for this currently. Right now, we will need to manually change the warehouse stock amount to make sure our inventory quantities stay accurate. But manually changing the amount does not show proper history and it also doesn't appropriately pull consumption reports when needed.
