We currently allow users to only pick 'Building' for a particular Request Type. We do not have 'Space' in the workflow for them to pick.
It would be great if, instead, the Work Order for this specific Request Type would default Building and Space to the default assigned to the Requestor.
Hello - please take a look at Settings > Manage Request Types > Edit Request Type. There is a setting called "Show Space on Request Type" and set that to yes. The system should also be defaulting to the default building and space for the requester. If this is not the case, please reach out to our support team, and they'll help you out.
