If I am on an inventory item page I want the ability to subtract it from inventory with a budget code without going to "Inventory Request". This could (and we would like this option) be an option under inventory as well like how "Receiving" is an option. But only for admin users.
It would save time from having to fill out the order and then also assign it and complete it. So it could look like a reverse receiving pop-up window. Only instead of receiving it would be to remove it from inventory. Instead of Vendor-PO Number it would just have a drop down for budget codes. Price Per Unit and Total cost would show up and the "Notes" section would be available for someone to put in if they wanted/needed to. It would show up on the "Inventory Request Detail Page" and the history of the item.
Gotcha @Guest - so essentially, an easier way to deduct inventory with budget code association and in this case its not something you want tracked as a request? I understand the time saving and proposed workflow, all of that makes sense. Could you provide an example of why you would need to do that and not have it tracked as a request?
