Add/edit/remove Due Date after an asset is checked out

A Due Date can only be assigned when checking an asset out to a user. The ability to add, remove, and change due dates would be useful in many scenarios:

  • Forgot to add due date

  • Added incorrect due date

  • Extend checkout period for an asset

  • Remove due date if asset will be permanently assigned to a user

This would open up the possibility for other features, including:

  • Due date visible and editable on the "Details" page of an asset

  • Send reminder emails to users when due date approaching, on due date, and/or when asset is past due

Some organizations might not want these features. Consider allowing organizations to enable as desired individual features as desired.
