We were trying to use the Request Status manual sync in MLW to see get a message out and found out that when you list a role in the Notify Role section it it will essentially duplicate the amount of notices that are going out.
If there was an option to check that states "Only Notify users with this role" when you are manually syncing request status, that would put a safeguard in and prevent an accident of thousands of emails going out at once.
