Consume one quantity of inventory component (charger) to an asset type (Chromebook) on asset check out

I am attempting to manage our Chromebook charger inventory as we issue new devices and replacement chargers to our high school students. My goal is to find a way to link our number of available Chromebook charger units that are kept in Inventory to deplete by 1 unit whenever a new charger is given out to a user when a Chromebook asset type is checked out. I want to know how many chargers we are issuing for replacements and new checkouts so we know when to know more.

Ideally, I'm imagining a little Y/N box during the Checkout asset pop up window that asks the user if they are receiving a related component (charger) or not. Follet's Destiny Resource manager software has a similar feature. I've included a screenshot for reference if that's helpful.
