I currently use status reasons for a variety of reasons ex parts on order, awaiting funding, called in contractor ect. The On hold requires either a date or permanent Hold and when closing a on hold work order needs to be removed from hold before completing. Just a lot of extra steps for the technisian
This is what I currently have for request statuses
Parts on order
Summer work
awaiting funding
Non student day
waiting on more info
Called in Contractor/Vendor
Okay, makes sense. What would be some example "In Progress Reasons" you would use? The context will be really helpful when I review this with our internal team
I believe it would be better to just add status reasons to "in progress" as other users may utilize the "hold" on/off I personally do not but other may.
Thanks for the idea submission.
So are you looking to add status reasons to the "In Progress" status? Or are you hoping the off/on hold workflow is easier with less steps?... Or both?
