We're building audits that I need to assign to various workers. Currently, I have to create a work order and put a link to the audit in notes. I'd like to be able to create a WO from the audit, or to at least be able to assign to various users from the audit.
I'd also like to retain the audit for future assignment after it's been submitted/completed for this year; something akin to building a report that we can run whenever needed. I don't want to have to re-build all of these audits every time we need to audit something.
We'd like to be able to create a work order directly from the audit, much like we can create a work order directly from an event. It makes it easy to find all work related to a specific issue: event, audit, etc. Currently for audits, we have to grab the URL from the created audit, generate a work order and assign, paste the audit URL into WO notes. Not convenient at all.
I love the "re-create audit" notion. Talk about a work-saver! A Great idea.
Hi @Guest Thank you for this idea submission!
For making work orders from audits, would you want be able to make 1 work order on a single asset from the audit? Or just being able to create work orders in general from the audit and have that easy-go-to link back to the audit.
And when it comes to retaining audit for annual use, we could do like a "Recreate Audit" button that replicates the completed audit as a new "in progress" audit. Just an initial thought but open to your thoughts on it!
